Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s 2-year-old son, Olin, is their No. 1 fan!
The Deadpool & Wolverine star, 48, revealed at the Time100 Summit in New York City on Wednesday, April 23, that little Olin can’t get enough of the movie that introduced his famous parents to one another.
As Time correspondent Eliana Dockterman mentioned 2011 superhero movie Green Lantern while introducing Reynolds for an onstage interview, the actor quipped that it wasn’t “the most successful movie” on his résumé.
Indeed, the blockbuster was met with negative reviews from critics and fans alike, but apparently, it’s a big hit in the Reynolds-Lively household.
“It’s my son’s favorite movie, he’s 2. It’s just everyday, you’re like, ‘Oh, I need to heal this, I see,’” Reynolds joked, per People.
Reynolds and Lively, 37, met on the set of Green Lantern in 2010, though things didn’t turn romantic until after the movie was released. They married two years later and have four children. As well as Olin, the couple share three daughters: James, 10, Inez, 8, and Betty, 5.
“We went on a double date,” Reynolds told Entertainment Weekly’s SiriusXM show in February 2016. “She was on a date with another guy, and I was on a date with another girl — and that was, like, the most awkward date for the respective parties because we were just like fireworks coming across.”
“I remember it was funny, because for about a year after Green Lantern had come and gone and all that stuff, we were both single,” he said. “I think the best way to have a relationship is to start as friends.”
Last July, while promoting Deadpool & Wolverine, Reynolds shared his son’s name for the first time at the film’s New York City premiere. The film’s director, Shawn Levy, also revealed he is the little one’s godfather.
“Little by little, all of the Reynoldses started being a part of the movie, including their youngest,” Levy said in an interview with Variety, explaining the Reynolds children’s cameos in Deadpool & Wolverine. “As the proud godfather of Olin, that might be my favorite voice cameo.”

Olin briefly appears in Deadpool & Wolverine as Babypool, while his sister Inez appears as Kidpool. Lively makes a masked appearance as Lady Deadpool. Meanwhile, Lively and Reynolds’ daughter, Betty, is mentioned in the credits as Hugh Jackman’s “wrangler.”
Pop superstar Taylor Swift described Lively and Reynolds’ children as her “godkids” via an Instagram Story last July to mark the release of Deadpool & Wolverine, seemingly indicating that she is little Olin’s godmother. In November, Reynolds told Deadline that Swift is godmother to his and Lively’s three daughters.
