Your Responsibility:
• Responsible for the supervision packaging during the entire development phase
• Development and realisation of creative and sustainable packaging concepts in close cooperation with internal interfaces and external partners on an international level
• Assessing packaging designs based on technical drawings and samples
• Determining materials, tool technologies and capacities as well as quality parameters and test methods for packaging materials
• Tendering and price negotiation for packaging development projects
• Ensuring the process capability of our new developments at our suppliers
• On-site acceptance of pilot and series moulds as well as pilot and first fillings at our external suppliers
Your Qualification:
• Successfully completed a degree in packaging engineering or an equivalent course of study
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the design and development of packaging
• Experience with filling machines for cosmetic products is an advantage
• Experience in the design and development of sustainable primary packaging is an advantage (“Design for Recycling”), as well as qualification of sustainable packaging materials
• Experience in managing complex projects, also on an international level
• Confident handling of common MS Office products, especially good Excel skills
• Experience in design thinking and agile working methods as well as an affinity for cosmetics, beauty and trends are an advantage
• Business fluent in written and spoken English
