Love Is Blind season 7 star Nick Dorka is sharing his honest thoughts about the reunion.
Viewers saw Nick’s ex-fiancée Hannah Jiles and other cast members question his intentions for going on the show during the Wednesday, October 30, reunion, and accuse him of disparaging Hannah’s appearance.
Hannah, Monica Davis, Marissa George, Stephen Richardson and Ramses Prashad called out Nick for allegedly talking about Hannah’s appearance behind her back, including calling Hannah a “grenade,” which Nick denied. At one point, Ramses urged the real estate agent to “take accountability” and “keep it 100, man, things were said,” per People.
“All this s–t on the reunion, man, I feel like people should take … people gotta take accountability for their actions on the show,” Nick, 29, said in a video posted via his Instagram Story on Wednesday as he watched the reunion on Netflix.
He added, “Why can’t someone be genuine? Why all the women gotta gang up on the men?”
Ultimately, Nick felt that only one cast member, Garrett Josemans, had his back.
“I appreciate you, Garrett, for standing up for me, bro. Thank you, Garrett. You a real one. The real ones on that crew, on that cast, know what Nicky D’s about,” Nick said in his video post. “Everything’s perspective — just remember that.”
During Wednesday’s reunion, Hannah, 27, called Nick “very calculated” and questioned whether he signed up for the show for fame after she said found a notebook in which Nick wrote down that he wanted to be “the most famous person ever on Love Is Blind.” She also said he called her a “grenade,” a “5/10” and “ugly” to other cast members behind her back.
“He talked to me about the grenade, but he didn’t tell me about how he actually felt … with the rating scale,” Stephen said.
Nick ultimately confessed, “I said I was underwhelmed when I saw Hannah at the reveal. I never said she was a grenade.”
For her part, Hannah apologized for being “cruel” to her ex-fiancé on the show after viewers called her out for disparagingly speaking to Nick.
“I’m sorry I was so cruel to you,” Hannah said, describing herself as a “very direct” and “blunt” person, echoing comments she recently made exclusively to Us Weekly.
“I’m a bitch. It’s like — is she a bitch or is she that bitch, but I’m bitchy,” Hannah told Us earlier this month. “I know that and I’m direct and I can be rude a lot because I don’t realize my words. People can tell you things and you can be like, ‘Oh, OK, I should work on that.’ But when you actually see exactly what’s coming out of your mouth, you’re like, ‘That was harsh.’ There’s specific conversations with Nick where I could have eased up a bit or I could have chilled, like, a lot.”
