Hermès Perfumes & Beauty division posts flat Q1 sales at EUR 129 million

Sales of the French luxury group Hermès increased by 8.5% in the first quarter of fiscal year 2025 (7% at constant exchange rates). The group’s consolidated revenue reached EUR 4.1 billion. All regions recorded double-digit growth, with the exception of Asia-Pacific, which increased by 5.1%.

At the end of March 2025, all the métiers posted growth, with the exception of the Watches and the Perfume and Beauty métiers.

Sales in the Perfume and Beauty division remained almost stable, down from 130 million euros in 2024 to 129 million euros in 2025 (-0.1%).

The group also said it will raise its U.S. prices from the start of May in order to offset the impact of President Donald Trump’s 10% tariffs.

The price increase that we’re going to implement will be just for the U.S. since it’s aimed at offsetting the tariffs that only apply to the American market, so there won’t be price increases in the other regions,Eric du Halgouët, Hermès’ executive vice president for finance, said during an analyst call that followed the firm’s first-quarter results release on Thursday, April 17.
