Former Kansas City Chiefs athlete Gehrig Dieter is a Super Bowl champion, but his family with wife Meg Dieter might be his proudest achievement.
The wide receiver was initially signed by the Chiefs in 2017 as an undrafted free agent, later being bumped to the team’s practice squad. He was officially promoted to the NFL roster in 2018, one year before marrying Meg.
“Let me introduce you to Mrs. Dieter,” he captioned a wedding photo via Instagram in May 2019.
In February 2020, Gehrig was part of the Chiefs team that defeated the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LIV alongside Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce. Two months later, he and Meg welcomed their first baby, daughter Chloe. The couple went on to welcome two more daughters: Gigi in 2021 and Leighton in 2023.
Gehrig balanced fatherhood with his football career before retiring from the sport in 2022. “Thank you for everything KC. Been a crazy journey!” he shared via social media at the time.
