Demi Lovato, her mom, Dianna De La Garza, and older sister, Dallas Lovato, mourned the loss of Madison De La Garza’s baby girl on Saturday, October 26, following the devastating announcement.

“On the evening of September 27th, after an emergency c-section, Ryan and I held our little girl for the first and last time,” Lovato’s youngest sister, 22, wrote on Instagram. “Thank you, Xiomara, for making us parents to the most perfect angel in heaven. Mommy and Daddy love you sweet girl.”

Demi, 32, commented on the post, writing, “I love you so much Xiomara. An angel in every sense of the word. I’ll be your auntie forever. 💔.”

Demi also shared Madison’s post via her Instagram Story, writing, “RIP to my beautiful, perfect niece Xiomara. I’m so grateful I got to hold you. I’ll forever be your auntie.” The singer added two broken heart emojis, saying, “I love you so much @maddelagrza.”

Their mom Dianna, 62, also posted in the comments section of her daughter’s post, writing, “They say when you meet your Grandchild for the first time, you feel a love that you can’t explain in words. I felt that love and I will feel it til the day I die. I love you my sweet granddaughter Xiomara. Thank you for making me a REAL ‘Grandma D’.🕊️.”

Sister Dallas, 36, shared a touching poem, which read: “Baby girl Xiomara, I miss you everyday. / I’ll take good care of your mom, so you can fly away. / Watch over us and guide us and give us little signs / One day we’ll come and see you, it just might take some time. / Not a single day will pass without you in our hearts / I wish we got more time together before you had to depart. / So have fun in your new world, the one we cannot see. / Because every breath I take, I’ll be taking one for z ♥️.”

Braedon De La Garza, Cruel Summer star and Madison’s cousin, also wrote, “I love you. Rest in peace baby xo 👼🏻.” And Demi’s fiancé, Jordan “Jutes” Lutes, shared, “I love you so much 🖤 rest easy baby angel Xiomara.”

Madison and her boyfriend, Ryan Mitchell, announced their pregnancy on September 5 with photos of friends and family caressing her belly. “Oh Ryan, how I love you,” the Desperate Housewives alum captioned the post. “Thank you for making all of my dreams come true.”

Demi shared her sister’s post via Instagram Story at the time, writing, “Congratulations baby girl. I love you so much!!!”

She also posted a photo of herself, Dallas and their mom posing with pregnant Madison on September 21. “My baby sis is having a baby!! I love you @maddelagarza and I can’t wait to meet your little angel 🥹🖤.”
