Boris Schaefer has been appointed the 77th President of the Cosmetic Industry Buyers and Suppliers (CIBS) for 2025, succeeding Veronica Cruz-Onishea, from ABA Pakaging Corp.
CIBS is a professional organization that connects buyers and suppliers in the cosmetic, personal care, and packaging industries, promoting networking, education, and collaboration to drive innovation and growth.
Schaefer, a seasoned professional with over 25 years in the cosmetic packaging industry, heads US sales and operations for the TNT Group, a leading supplier of premium primary and secondary packaging solutions.
Schaefer said his presidency will focus on key initiatives designed to drive growth and engagement within CIBS. His goals include expanding membership, attracting younger professionals, and hosting diverse events, including a Brazilian-themed Luncheon on February 26th, a German Beerhall Party on April 2nd, and a Kentucky Derby-themed Ladies Day on May 2nd.
