Chet Patel to help drive cap hpi consulting growth


Chet Patel has been appointed as a new key account manager for cap hpi’s OEM consulting team.

The role will see Chet working closely with fellow members of the OEM team helping to further grow its global reach and assisting OEMs to develop and accelerate their own new product and expansion plans.

Chet has over 25 years of experience leading sales opportunities across multiple divisions within various industry sectors, ranging from banking and financial services to retail and automotive. Chet will report to Mark Turnbull, director of OEM and consulting at cap hpi consulting.

He was previously the head of business development at Credicar, a new FinTech delivering lending products to the automotive sector, and prior to that, part of the business development team at Experian UK, where he advised banking, insurance and financial services clients.

Commenting on his appointment, Chet Patel, said: “I’m joining a first-rate team that is ideally placed to help OEMs navigate the challenges that the automotive industry presents, providing support ranging from advice on new model design and development through to effective remarketing strategies and residual value optimisation.”

“As a proven expert in building key relationships at the project lead level up to C-suite, he is vastly experienced in working strategically with clients on large-scale transformation projects.”

In addition to the consulting team, cap hpi supports OEMs with a range of data and technology products, including cap code, residual value forecasting, total costs of ownership and SMR forecasting, vehicle configurators, HPI vehicle checks and NMR mileage services.
