Allison Holker will always remember her late husband, Stephen “tWitch” Boss, and shared a poignant tribute on the second anniversary of his death.

“Our Angel @sir_twitch_alot is watching over us and protecting us,” Holker, 36, wrote via Instagram on Friday, December 13. “You are always in our hearts and we will always love you. We miss you, Stephen.”

She concluded, “Two years with you not here but you are always on our minds. We love you.”

Holker shared a throwback portrait of the family of five taken shortly after daughter Zaia’s birth in 2019. In addition to Zaya, Holker and Boss shared son Maddox, 8, and daughter Weslie, 16. (Weslie is Holker’s daughter from a previous relationship, whom Boss adopted.)

Allison Holker is still healing after the death of her husband, Stephen “tWitch” Boss — with the help of dance. Holker, 35, shared the first video of herself dancing in the wake of her loss, teaming up with choreographer Brittany Perry-Russell for a hip-hop routine. “Truly felt so good to dance again,” she captioned an […]

Boss, best known for his all-star appearances on So You Think You Can Dance and as the regular DJ on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, died by suicide in December 2022. He was 40.

“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us. Stephen lit up every room he stepped into,” Holker said in a statement at the time. “He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.”

The Dancing With the Stars alum added, “To say he left a legacy would be an understatement, and his positive impact will continue to be felt. I am certain there won’t be a day that goes by that we won’t honor his memory. We ask for privacy during this difficult time for myself and especially for our three children. Stephen, we love you, we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you.”

Holker and her kids have continued honoring Boss’ legacy in the years since his death. She returned to SYTYCD for its 18th season earlier this year, often paying tribute to Boss.

“Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss was and will forever be an icon [and] a legend because he was truly the best at what he did,” she said during the March premiere. “But also because he brought out the best in everyone around him. To this day, for me, my children and everyone here, he’s still doing that. And how we honor him is by giving that life back because that’s what he would want too.”

Holker started dating Adam Edmunds in 2024, exclusively telling Us Weekly in September that she “never knew that [she] could have this” feeling of love again.

“I actually feel like I found such a great love and support system from someone,” Holker told Us. “We understand each other and we’re so supportive of each other. He’s just someone that stepped into my life, and it’s been so beautiful and lovely.”
