University to Reopen on Monday
PDF Print E-mail Written by Oliver Downing
The university will be open, as normal, from the morning of Monday 11th of January. Following the University's closure on the 6th of January, it was not made clear if it would be to reopen for the start of teaching for semester two. The university has now announced that the majority of its facilities, including the libraries, can now be reopened; though, grit is limited and shall be used sparingly, as necessary. Therefore, the university's car parks and roadways will not be gritted, though disabled access can be if required.

The University also states that: 'The Egerton Court car park will be closed on Monday but nearby city council owned Mount Pleasant is clear.'

Further to this, it advises the use of public transport, where possible.

The Looprevil Press will provide updates on the situation should the weather deteriorate.
